I’m tired of seeing great music not reach the audiences it deserves, so I’ve started working with musicians through Turntable, a Berkshire-based creative collective and studio, based in Wokingham, just outside of London. We work with artists on everything from songwriting and production, to content creation and music videos. My main specialisation is consultancy, where I can help guide artists through their next steps, with discounts available to musicians from disadvantaged backgrounds. (If you’re a musician reading this: any blog, website, or show (playlists are a bit different) which charges for placements is likely using you as their customer in their business model. They’re not making enough money from advertising to make a profit, as they don’t have enough eyes on their content - so they’re charging you instead - therefore it is not worth submitting to them! It’s tough out here, but look after yourself and don’t pay the grifters)
